Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever [doeth] any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride [doeth].
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore [doeth] the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's.
But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that [doeth] such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?
But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and [doeth] according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he [doeth] according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that [doeth] evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
But he that heareth, and [doeth] not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he [doeth], these also doeth the Son likewise.
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that [doeth] evil.
Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he [doeth], prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
