And he said, Behold, I make a [covenant]: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the [covenant] of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my [covenant]: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
